I shared this post on my Facebook professional page on the 9th of April and we are still trying to figure out what freedoms my teens can reclaim.

I was just listening to a psychology podcast while making toasted sandwiches for the kids (that’s dinner who cares) and something really resonated. Parenting teens during covid- have patience and understanding- they are grieving the most important thing to them in this developmental stage = freedom.
And they way they express it is through slamming doors, being totally irrational and sleeping (as much as humanly possible). Be gentle with them and yourselves. I currently have one of each of the above so I guess they are normal teens!
